this is a short passion project that i hope to work on this year. the premise is really simple. 

i text a friend “fact or fiction” with no context and ask them to pick. 

 

if they pick fact, i write a short, nonfiction essay about them. it can be about anything i observe, something i love, or a random anecdote of a memory i share with them -- retelling one of our adventures. 

 

if they pick fiction , i write a fictional short story where they are the main character, based on their qualities, personalities, and traits. i write an adventure where they are the main character.

 

this was born out of a love and appreciation for the people in my life. friends, family, strangers. i hope to showcase a range of experiences, personalities, dreams, fears, and everything in between. 

 

i wouldn’t be myself without these people in my life.
